Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, at the 2025 New Year's Meeting: "Resident Happiness is the Top Priority"

Mapo-gu (Mayor Park Gang-su) held the '2025 New Year's Greeting Meeting' at Art Hall Mac in Mapo Art Center on the afternoon of January 8, marking the Year of the Office Building 2025.

About 3,000 people, including Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, city and district council members, and resident representatives, attended the event to share the hopeful start of the new year.

The New Year's Greeting Meeting opened with a congratulatory performance by the Mapo-gu Youth Musical Troupe. This was followed by a video screening featuring New Year's wishes from various sectors, a New Year's address by Mayor Park Gang-su, and New Year's greetings from key guests.

On this day, Mayor Park Gang-su of Mapo-gu expressed his reflections, saying, "The reason Mapo-gu has achieved remarkable development over the past two and a half years is that we have all worked together solely for the happiness of Mapo residents."

He then presented the 2025 district administration goals to enhance residents' happiness: 'Revitalization of the local economy,' 'Customized happiness enhancement,' and 'Support for future growth,' emphasizing that administrative efforts will be focused on these areas.

Mayor Park Gang-su also stated, "Mapo-gu will continue to use the voices of residents as a milestone and take bold steps toward greater change with innovative ideas and courageous challenges," showing his firm determination.

Finally, he declared a strong commitment, saying, "One hour of the mayor contains the value of 370,000 hours, which is the sum of every hour of the 370,000 Mapo residents," and "In 2025, I will do my best solely for the happiness of the residents."
