A 15-story building above ground and 5 basement levels to be constructed on a 45,300㎡ site north of the current hospital
Soonchunhyang University Cheonan Hospital announced on the 9th that it will open a new hospital with a capacity of 1,000 beds on May 7.
The new hospital has been constructed on a site (45,300㎡) north of the current hospital, with five underground floors and fifteen above-ground floors.
The total floor area is 136,192㎡, and parking space is available for 1,039 vehicles. A helipad has also been installed on the rooftop.
The new hospital has completed the opening process and has now entered the trial operation and relocation preparation phase.
Hospital Director Lee Moonsu said, "After receiving temporary use approval from Cheonan City last December, we have been able to accelerate preparations for the opening," and added, "We will repay the trust of local residents by successfully opening a new hospital equipped with a patient-friendly medical system and a safe and efficient medical environment."
