Gwangjin-gu Supports Up to 150,000 KRW per Unemployed Youth for Language and Certification Exam Fees

Support up to 150,000 KRW per unemployed youth (ages 19-39)
Language, national technical qualification, and Korean history proficiency tests conducted in 2025

Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) will support the exam fees for language and qualification tests to alleviate the financial burden on unemployed youth seeking jobs.

The support targets unemployed youth aged 19 to 39 who have been registered residents of Gwangjin-gu for more than one month as of the application date and have no business registration, providing up to 150,000 KRW per person.

Eligible exams include ▲language tests ▲Korean History Proficiency Test ▲qualification exams under the Enforcement Rules of the National Technical Qualifications Act, with no restrictions on passing status or number of applications.

Applications are accepted from the 1st to the 15th of each month. After document screening, recipients are selected around the 25th and payments are made to individual accounts at the end of each month. Priority is given to basic livelihood security recipients and lower-income groups, followed by order of application.

Application forms and required documents can be submitted in person at the Youth Employment Division or via email to the person in charge. Detailed information on eligibility and required documents can be found in the announcement on the Gwangjin-gu Office website.
