Following CES 2024, Gyeongsan Companies' Technological Excellence Recognized on the Global Stage
Technologies of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) located in Gyeongsan-si, Gyeongbuk, have received global certification, opening the door wide for entry into the global market.
Gyeongsan-si announced on the 8th that through the 'CES 2025 Gyeongsan Enterprise Support Project,' it discovered innovative technology SMEs and supported pre-consulting for CES participation and innovation award acquisition, selecting seven companies in the region to participate in CES 2025 held in Las Vegas, USA, from the 7th to the 10th.

At this CES, the K-Startup Pavilion (3 companies) and the General Pavilion (4 companies) will be operated.
Following last year, two companies from the region also won innovation awards at CES 2025. The CES Innovation Award is given by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), which hosts CES, the world's largest IT exhibition. It is awarded to innovative technologies and products leading the world and is called the 'highest honor of CES.'
The honored company, NFuture Co., Ltd. (CEO Noh Hyun-young), received the innovation award for its vehicle-mounted ESS charging system for AAM (Advanced Air Mobility) and EV (Electric Vehicle) charging. ESS (Energy Storage System) is a technology that stores energy in batteries for use when needed. It is recognized as a core technology solving energy supply issues, providing sustainable mobility solutions through lightweight, eco-friendly charging technology, and battery safety assurance technology.
Another award-winning company, Huminix Co., Ltd. (CEO Choi Jung-soo), was honored for exhibiting the user-customized fitness robot platform ‘SEGYM.’ This platform, combining AI and IoT technologies, analyzes users’ exercise status in real time and proposes optimal exercise methods, receiving high praise as a next-generation digital healthcare solution.
The 'CES 2025 Gyeongsan Pavilion' operates with three companies in the K-Startup Pavilion: ▲NFuture Co., Ltd. (vehicle-mounted ESS charging system), ▲CreamOff Co., Ltd. (pet health monitoring device), and ▲Smart Creator Co., Ltd. (industrial safety VR education content). The General Pavilion includes four companies: ▲Haga Co., Ltd. (visual aid devices for the visually impaired), ▲East Co., Ltd. (automation inspection and analysis system in manufacturing), ▲ROG Logistics Co., Ltd. (autonomous driving system for articulated unmanned forklifts), and ▲Global Korea Co., Ltd. (IoT-integrated moon boat).
Cho Hyun-il, mayor of Gyeongsan-si, said, “Having local companies recognized for their innovative technology on a global stage like CES is a case proving the competitiveness of Gyeongsan companies in the global market,” adding, “We will continue to support local companies’ overseas expansion and strive to establish Gyeongsan as the center of technological innovation in Korea.”
