Supply Scheduled to Major Local Commercial Districts Starting from the 13th
Daesun Joojo, celebrating its 95th anniversary, will launch ‘Daesun 159,’ a completely renewed version of its flagship product Daesun, starting from the 13th.
Daesun 159 is a product tailored for the sober life era, where people enjoy time without getting intoxicated. It was perfected by Daesun Joojo’s top research team after more than a year of numerous blind tests.
The alcohol content has been lowered from the previous 16.5 degrees to 15.9 degrees, and it includes L-arginine, an essential amino acid, and enzyme-treated stevia, achieving a perfect harmony of smooth throat feel and crispness. Additionally, with 0% fructose, health-conscious consumers can enjoy it without worry.
The newly renewed label reflects Daesun Joojo’s commitment to leading the liquor industry. The dynamic wave shape symbolizing the blue sea of Busan expresses Daesun Joojo’s relentless challenge and determination toward innovation, while the intuitive and simple font conveys the company’s sincere focus on the essence of soju.
The core keyword of Daesun 159 is “Parang (波浪).” Like the gentle and large waves implied by Parang, it aims to approach consumers softly yet powerfully and to create a huge wave of innovation in the rapidly changing liquor market, leading new trends.
Daesun 159 will be supplied sequentially starting from major local commercial districts to convenience stores and marts, and plans to expand consumer contact points through diverse marketing activities.
Choi Hong-seong, CEO of Daesun Joojo, said, “We have devoted company-wide efforts over the past year for Daesun 159, the first product of the Year of the Blue Snake 2025, so we expect it to receive much interest and love from our customers.” He added, “Like the blue snake that continuously renews itself through relentless effort and transformation, we will continue research, development, and innovation to lead the liquor market for the next 100 years.”
