Listening to Merchants' Difficulties Followed by Visit to Joint Memorial Altar
Muan County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 8th that Oh Youngju, Minister of SMEs and Startups, visited Muan Traditional Market on the 7th to listen to merchants' concerns and paid respects to the victims of the Jeju Air passenger plane accident.
The meeting was attended by Minister Oh Youngju, Governor Kim San, Han Seungju, Jeollanam-do Chapter President of the National Merchants Association, Moon Jeongsu, President of the Muan Traditional Market Merchants Association, and about 20 others.

At the meeting, Governor Kim San expressed his gratitude for Muan Traditional Market being selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' cultural tourism-type specialized market development project, and stated, "We will actively support Muan Traditional Market so that it can become a leading market representing Jeollanam-do."
He also asked the merchants' association to make efforts and cooperate so that traditional markets, which are struggling due to the economic downturn, can regain their vitality.
Meanwhile, after the meeting, Minister Oh Youngju toured the shops in the market, encouraged the merchants by purchasing agricultural and marine products with Onnuri gift certificates, and then visited the joint memorial altar at Muan Sports Park to pay respects to the victims of the Jeju Air passenger plane accident.
