This training has attracted attention by inviting Lee Hee-mo, known as the "Master of Garlic" in Yeongcheon and the Gyeongbuk region. Lee Hee-mo dedicated 41 years as a local rural guidance officer at the Yeongcheon Agricultural Technology Center, leading the dissemination of agricultural technologies. He received commendations from the Rural Development Administration for increasing farmers' income and from the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries for contributions to stabilizing vegetable supply and demand and developing the horticulture industry.

He has systematically guided all processes from early garlic cultivation management, pest and disease control, to post-harvest quality management, providing customized solutions to increase farmers' income. Among local farmers, there is a saying, "If it’s about garlic cultivation, you must listen to Instructor Lee Hee-mo’s advice to succeed," reflecting the high level of trust he has earned.

Goryeong-gun has included practical education necessary for farmers, such as basic public payment system training, in line with changing agricultural policies this year. Through this, the county is focusing on promptly responding to changes in agricultural conditions and effectively disseminating the latest farming technologies.
