The first floor of Botjae features the 'Boseong History and Culture Center,' where visitors can gain an overview of Boseong's history and culture. On the second floor, the Green Dahyang (cafe) offers over 40 types of Boseong tea-based beverages that can only be tasted in Boseong, contributing to the income of local tea farmers.

Additionally, the third-floor Boseong Ecological Exhibition Hall 'Bium' serves as a relaxing space where visitors can view exhibitions on Boseong's natural environment, providing tourists with a unique experience and healing.

The 'Korean Tea Museum' attracted 121,000 visitors in 2024 and recorded sales of 88 million KRW.

The Korean Tea Museum, which showcases everything from the production and manufacturing of Boseong tea to tea culture, hosts more than 10 special planned and invitational exhibitions annually.

Visitors can also enjoy a variety of digital exhibitions, including Boseong tea field media art, 3D media videos, and a collection archive wall for searching exhibits.

Furthermore, the museum offers various educational programs such as tea ceremony education, blending tea-making experiences, and tea food-making experiences, making it a popular site for hands-on learning.

Located at Yulpo Solbat Beach, the 'Yulpo Haesunokcha Center' (hereafter referred to as the Green Tea Center) was used by 240,000 people in 2024, generating sales of 1.86 billion KRW.

As the nation's first green tea seawater bath, the Green Tea Center originally opened in 1998 and was newly rebuilt and reopened in September 2018. The three-story, 4,424 square meter facility features seawater green tea baths, outdoor open-air baths, and green tea jjimjil (sauna) therapy facilities, all utilizing green tea for therapeutic bathing.

The Green Tea Center is ideally located between Boseong's main tourist attractions, including the Boseong tea fields, Botjae, the Korean Tea Museum, and Dahyang Art Valley, making it perfect for sightseeing after a bath. Thanks to this advantage, it has revitalized the commercial district around Yulpo Beach and contributed to the local economy.

▲ Boseong County sports facilities gaining popularity as training camps

The number of users of sports facilities in the county has increased, with 121,000 at Boseong National Sports Center, 40,000 at Boseong Sports Park, 16,000 at Beolgyo Ecological Park, as well as more visitors to Hoecheon Ecological Park Baseball Field and Boknae Park Golf Course.

This is the result of Boseong County's active efforts to attract sports competitions and training teams, as well as the expansion of grassroots sports, which has had a positive effect on attracting not only athletes but also their families, fans, and other tourists to Boseong.

A county official stated, "We will fill each cultural and tourism facility with a variety of attractions and hands-on experiences as cultural content for the increasing number of camping and healing tourists, so that visitors to Boseong can fully enjoy its charm."
