Pilot Operation Begins... Official Opening in February
One-Stop Service for Youth Support Projects
Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 8th that it has completed the establishment of the 'Yongin Youth Portal Cheongnyeon e-rang (youth.yongin.go.kr),' which gathers various youth policy-related information in one place, and will conduct a one-month pilot operation starting from the 7th.
This portal not only provides integrated information on youth policies and projects but also offers a one-stop service from application to management of youth support projects. The homepage is composed of ▲Yongin City Youth Policy (customized search for nationwide youth policies) ▲Application (youth policy projects, Youth LAB programs, etc.) ▲Youth Participation (youth policy networks, youth freelancers, youth talks, etc.) ▲Yongin Youth LAB integrated operation (program applications and space rental).
Earlier, the city selected the portal name through a naming contest held in November last year. 'Yongin Youth Portal Cheongnyeon e-rang' is a compound word of 'Yongin + youth + e (internet/online) + rang (together/love),' expressing the hope that it will grow into an online community portal that is always with and loved by Yongin youth.
A city official stated, "We plan to quickly provide youth project information in one place so that no youth misses out on benefits due to lack of information about youth policies." The city plans to enter full operation next month by reflecting the monitoring results of the preliminary experience group during the pilot operation period.
