3714 Private Units, 1126 Redevelopment Units, 154 Private Rental Units, etc.
Daejeon City announced that it plans to supply around 7,000 apartment units this year.
This year's supply consists of 7,059 units across 14 complexes, which is about 10,000 units fewer than last year. The city analyzed this decrease as a temporary phenomenon caused by a large-scale supply being released all at once last year in the Doan Phase 2 residential site.
By supply method, there will be 3,714 units by private construction, 1,126 units through redevelopment projects, 154 units for private rental, and 2,065 units of public housing for residential stability of low-income households. Among the public housing, 1,903 units will be supplied by LH in the Daehung-dong, Dungok-dong, and Daedong areas.
The city also expects that next year, a similar number of 7,979 units across nine complexes will be supplied.
Meanwhile, this year, it is expected that a total of 12,045 units in 14 complexes, including Dunsan The Sharp Elif (2,763 units), Dunsan Xi I-Park (1,974 units), and Hoban Summit Grand Central (1,558 units), will be occupied.
