Seodaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seongheon) will hold the "2025 Seodaemun-gu New Year Concert with Residents" at 5 p.m. on the 18th of this month at the Yonsei University Auditorium in Sinchon-dong.
Sponsored by Woori Bank, this concert will feature the "Seodaemun Orchestra - Ham Shin-ik and Symphony Song," presenting a classical performance filled with joy and hope for about 100 minutes, starting with "Spring Sound Waltz." Tenor Kim Dongwon and trumpet player Seong Jaechang will perform together, and the Seodaemun-gu Women's Choir will also participate in the performance.
The concert is free of charge, and those who wish to attend can apply through the Seodaemun-gu Office website (Information by Category → Integrated Online Application → Quick Application) or by calling the Cultural and Sports Division of the district office.
Mayor Lee Seongheon said, "Although these are difficult times, I expect that music carrying a message of hope will give strength to the audience, and this year, we will continue to build a richer local community through various cultural projects."
