It has been reported that YouTuber Lee Hee-cheol (40), who gained recognition through his appearance on KBS 2TV variety show 'Sallimnam 2,' has passed away.
Broadcaster Pungja shared on his Instagram story on the 7th, "My dearly beloved Seoul Salon Lee Hee-cheol oppa became a star in the sky today."
He continued, "Even as I write this, I can't believe it, but I am leaving this message for those who loved oppa and acquaintances who have not yet heard the news. Please pray that he can go to a good place." He added, "It was such a sudden event that many acquaintances have not been reached yet," and said, "If you give me your contact or DM (direct message), I will provide information about the funeral." The funeral hall is set up at Soonchunhyang Seoul Hospital Funeral Hall. The funeral procession will be held at 5 a.m. on the 10th, and the burial site is Suwon City Yeonhwanjang.
This comes just a week after he left his New Year's wishes on the 31st of last month. At that time, he wrote on his Instagram, "The difficult nine-year period of 2024 was so hard that I wondered if it was even allowed. Both my health and mind were exhausted; it was truly a tough year. Knowing that one learns and grows through pain, I humbly and firmly believe I will overcome it well and gratefully send it off. I am thankful for this too! With his bold wit and unique character, he quickly reached 1 million views, becoming a hot topic. Last year, he also appeared on KBS 2TV's 'Sallimhaneun Namjadeul' Season 2.
