Gyeonggi Fire Department, Fire Safety Poster Award Winners Touring Exhibition

The Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters will hold a traveling exhibition of award-winning children's fire safety posters.


The Fire and Disaster Headquarters announced on the 8th that the first exhibition will be held at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Office from the 6th to the 19th. The exhibition will then tour in a relay format, visiting the Gyeonggi-do National Safety Experience Center located in Osan and Starfield in Suwon.


The exhibited works include a total of 70 pieces, featuring the best works awarded by 25 fire stations in the southern Gyeonggi region at the fire safety poster contest held last December in celebration of the 77th Fire Safety Emphasis Month, as well as outstanding works from previous years.

In particular, 9 works by children from multicultural families and 6 works by children from special classes will also be displayed.


Jo Seon-ho, head of the Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters, said, "We planned the exhibition to foster a public consensus on fire prevention, and following last year, we included works by children from multicultural families and special classes to create an exhibition that everyone can participate in."
