Daegu Catholic University announced on the 7th that the regular admission application for the 2025 academic year has closed with a total of 2,333 applicants competing for 571 spots (within the quota), recording an average competition rate of 4.09:1.
This figure is an increase compared to last year's regular admission average competition rate of 2.91:1.
In the 'Da' group general admission, the Department of Medicine recorded a competition rate of 15.18:1 with 425 applicants for 28 spots. This is a slight decrease from last year's competition rate of 17.9:1 (15 spots, 268 applicants).
The Department of Physical Therapy attracted attention with a competition rate of 10:1, having 40 applicants for 4 spots. The Department of Radiological Science recorded a competition rate of 8:1 with 32 applicants for 4 spots.
In the 'Na' group general admission, the College of Pharmacy showed a competition rate of 9.40:1 with 94 applicants for 10 spots.
