The I-QMS, first implemented by HDC Hyundai Development Company in the construction industry, was a quality real-name system concept that inspected key items for each process. The newly applied I-QMS from this year is an integrated field management solution that allows easy management of all construction-related tasks affecting quality, such as inspection, material acceptance, and video record management.

With this I-QMS revamp, quality inspection results can be checked in real-time on mobile devices both at the site and headquarters. Key quality item inspections, daily work report creation, inspection tasks, material acceptance, and process video uploads can all be handled via mobile.

I-QMS computerized responsibility inspections for key items at each construction stage to realize practical field management and standardized common field tasks and functions into uniform forms to improve work efficiency. It contributes to quality improvement and productivity increase by analyzing and utilizing data in real-time. It is also linked with the enterprise resource management system that manages site information and the integrated site safety management system (I-SAFETY 2.0) that manages worker access information.

An HDC Hyundai Development Company official said, "Through I-QMS, we expect effects such as digitalization of quality management tasks compared to before, process standardization, reduction of common field task time through system linkage, and improved worker output accuracy using facial recognition and QR codes. In line with the rapidly changing era centered on AI (artificial intelligence) technology and big data, HDC Hyundai Development Company plans to advance its construction system with cutting-edge digital technology in quality management."
