On the 7th, the Gapyeong-gun Cheongpyeong-myeon Administrative Welfare Center announced that it recently received a donation of 5 million won for helping neighbors from an anonymous philanthropist.

The envelope delivered by the donor contained five 1 million won checks along with a warm letter saying, "Although it is a small amount, I want to be with the neighbors in need in the community."

The anonymous philanthropist has been practicing sharing for the local community by donating every year for 9 years since 2016.

Cho Dooyoung, head of Cheongpyeong-myeon, said, "I was deeply moved by the donor who donated anonymously without revealing their good deed during difficult times," and added, "We sincerely thank you for practicing true sharing for the local community."

The donated funds will be delivered to low-income vulnerable groups within Cheongpyeong-myeon through the Community Chest of Korea.
