Digital healthcare specialist SCL Science announced on the 7th that it has signed a next-generation IT development project contract with Hanaro Medical Foundation. The contract is worth a total of 7 billion KRW.
In this project, SCL Science plans to integrate the IT systems of Hanaro Medical Foundation's three centers and innovate their processes. The project will be carried out over approximately two years, from January this year to December 2026.
Support for new digital businesses through the linkage of Hanaro Medical Foundation's personalized health management service Deohanaro and MyOneCare is also planned. MyOneCare is SCL Science's integrated management solution for health checkup agencies. It provides services such as comparison of checkup items by hospital and mobile reservation services.
Last year, SCL Science secured in-house development personnel and established a digital platform department to lead the SCL Group's digital transformation, including the development of a bio-logistics system. This department is divided into the △DS Division △Health Management Division △Solution Division, each responsible for IT development services, MyOneCare app services, and imaging consignment services, respectively.
A company representative said, “This contract has enabled us to secure a stable revenue base linked with Hanaro Medical Foundation and to advance systems in the digital platform sector. In the future, we plan to expand business externally in each digital platform division and develop it as a growth engine.”
Meanwhile, SCL Science announced at the end of last year that it would make specimen analysis specialist SCL Healthcare a wholly owned subsidiary. At the same time, it succeeded in raising 14 billion KRW in funding for new digital medical businesses.
