Yeoju Sejong Culture and Tourism Foundation Presents 'Robocar Poli? Catch It! The Golden Trophy' Performance

Yeoju Sejong Cultural Tourism Foundation announced on the 7th that it will present the family musical ‘Robocar Poli ? Catch the Golden Trophy’ at Sejong Gugakdang on the 11th.

‘Robocar Poli ? Catch the Golden Trophy’ is the first planned performance of 2025 by the Yeoju Sejong Cultural Tourism Foundation, designed as a gift-like show for children in Yeoju City during the winter vacation. Since its broadcast began in 2011, the animation Robocar Poli, featuring a rescue team made up of uniquely characterized vehicles such as the leader police car Poli, the strong fire truck Roy, the smart ambulance Amber, and the swift helicopter Helly, has been continuously loved by children. This work brings the animation to the stage.

The ‘Catch the Golden Trophy’ episode to be seen in Yeoju tells the story of a poacher villain named Poacher invading a village busy preparing for a sports day, ruining the event and stealing the golden trophy. The strongest rescue team Poli and the mountain rescue team join forces to protect the village in crisis and retrieve the golden trophy. Through this work, children can learn lessons by participating in caring for each other and overcoming difficulties.

Additionally, the various dispatch show scenes where the characters transform into robots provide children with dazzling visual entertainment, offering both fun and moral lessons simultaneously.

Lee Soon-yeol, director of the Yeoju Sejong Cultural Tourism Foundation, said, “We prepared this first performance of the year for children with the hope that the children of Yeoju City, who are on winter vacation, will live actively instead of shrinking from the cold,” and added, “This year as well, our foundation plans to be responsible for the cultural life of children and youth in Yeoju City through diverse performances including ‘Robocar Poli,’ music dramas featuring gugak, and youth theater, so we ask for the citizens of Yeoju’s great interest.”
