Ulsan Office of Education Announces Successful Candidates for Late General High School Admission Selection

All 40 Schools Select 8,021 Students... School Assignment Results Announced at 10 AM on the 31st

The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Cheon Chang-su) will announce the successful candidates for the 2025 academic year second semester general high school admissions at 10 a.m. on the 8th.

For the 2025 academic year second semester general high schools (40 schools including Gangdong High School), the number of successful candidates within the quota is 7,859, including 76 students with special athletic talents. The number of successful candidates outside the quota, such as children of national merit recipients, special admission students, and students with special education needs, is 162, making the total number of successful candidates 8,021, with 155 students not admitted.

Admission results can be checked at the respective middle schools and on various announcement websites of the Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education.

Earlier, on the 6th, eight representatives including students, parents, and faculty members participated in a lottery to determine the reference numbers for the school assignment order. The assigned schools will be announced at 10 a.m. on the 31st on the respective middle schools and various announcement websites of the Ulsan Office of Education.

The 155 students who were not admitted to the second semester general high schools can apply for additional recruitment at Ulsan Industrial High School, Ulsan Commercial High School, Ulsan Girls' Commercial High School, and Ulsan Technical High School.

Applications for additional recruitment at the four schools, including Ulsan Industrial High School, will be accepted from the 13th to the 15th, and detailed recruitment numbers and admission information can be found on each school's website.
