Three Areas, 60 Changes, etc.
On the 7th, Asan City in South Chungcheong Province released a booklet titled "Changing Systems and Policies," which includes newly implemented projects and major changes for this year, on its official website.
The booklet covers 60 changes across three categories?general/administrative/safety, health/welfare, and economy/agriculture/environment?as well as the schedules for 32 major upcoming events.
According to the booklet, public transportation convenience is expected to improve significantly this year.
First, the Chungnam-type Altteul Transportation Card has been upgraded. Previously, users received reimbursements the following month after use, but now they can enjoy three free rides per day.
In the second half of the year, services such as Majung Taxi, late-night buses, cashless buses (routes 1000 and 1100), and demand-responsive buses (Seonjang and Dogo areas) will also be introduced.
Additionally, in celebration of the Year of Visiting Asan, the Sinjeongho Regional Garden, which is expected to become a new landmark, will officially open. It is currently open on a temporary basis, with improvements underway for a formal opening in April.
Furthermore, the Special Education Development Zone project will officially begin, along with the operation of an integrated lifelong learning platform and the enhancement of content at Oeam Folk Village.
