"Joining Forces to Support Employment of International Students"... Yeungjin Cyber University - Daegu Haany University Business Agreement

Youngjin Cyber University (President Jo Bang-je) and Daegu Haany University (President Byun Chang-hoon) announced on the 7th that they have signed a mutual cooperation agreement to strengthen support for foreign international students' academic continuity and employment at the conference room on the 2nd floor of the main building of Daegu Haany University in Gyeongsan city.


This agreement is significant in that both universities have decided to join forces to help foreign international students continue their studies in Korea, develop their expertise, and further seek successful employment opportunities. A system will be established to enable foreign international students who graduated from Youngjin Cyber University to smoothly transfer to Daegu Haany University, and based on this, academic and living support will be strengthened, and domestic employment linkage programs will be expanded.

The main areas of cooperation include strengthening the transfer admission support system for foreign international students, providing programs to stabilize academic and living conditions, and establishing an industry-academia cooperation network for domestic employment linkage.


Both universities will prepare mentoring programs and learning support systems to reduce difficulties that foreign international students may face during the transfer process and to further enhance their expertise. In addition, various services will be provided to help students live stably in the Daegu area, and practical support for domestic employment will also be generously provided.


Byun Chang-hoon, President of Daegu Haany University, emphasized, “This agreement is an important first step to provide more educational opportunities and support systems for foreign international students,” adding, “The two universities will cooperate to nurture global talents through quality education and linkage.”


Jo Bang-je, President of Youngjin Cyber University, said, “I am pleased to provide a foundation for foreign international students who started their studies in Korea to continuously pursue their dreams and build careers domestically,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to provide the best education and employment opportunities for foreign international students.”


This agreement is regarded as a leading example among domestic higher education institutions striving to nurture global talents through attracting and supporting foreign international students. It is expected to establish itself as a cooperative model between online and offline universities within the region.
