Small-scale Business Environment Improvement Project
Digital Infrastructure Support Project
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam will implement the ‘Small Business Small-scale Management Environment Improvement and Digital Infrastructure Support Project’ starting from the 9th to support small business owners and self-employed individuals who are struggling due to recent declines in consumer sentiment.
First, the ‘Small-scale Management Environment Improvement Support Project’ for improving the business environment of small business owners selects participants based on criteria such as business plans and management status, limited to small business owners who have been operating in Changwon for more than six months.
The support items include facility improvement costs for business environment enhancements such as outdoor signboard replacement, interior renovations, and safety system maintenance. 70% of the supply price is supported, with a maximum support amount of 2 million KRW.
The ‘Digital Infrastructure Support Project,’ which helps reduce labor costs, provides support for the purchase of digital devices. Key supported items include kiosks, table orders, smart orders, and serving robots. This also supports up to 70% of the supply price per business (maximum 2 million KRW).
The Small-scale Management Environment Improvement Support Project and the Digital Infrastructure Support Project can be supported simultaneously.
Small business owners wishing to apply for the above projects can visit the Economic and Transportation Department of the district office with jurisdiction over their business location from the 9th to the 22nd to submit their applications. For detailed information on related documents and the projects, please refer to the announcement on the Changwon City website or contact the Economic and Transportation Department of each district office.
Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, stated, “We expect this to help small business owners adapt to rapidly changing business environments and consumer patterns, strengthen competitiveness, and secure their self-sustainability.”
