Emro, the leading AI-based supply chain management software company in Korea, announced on the 7th that it has newly launched the 'Global Briefing' service on BUYBLE, an online community platform for purchasing managers.
The newly introduced 'Global Briefing' is a service that provides various global data necessary for purchasing tasks, such as exchange rates, raw material prices, industry trends, and disaster information. Through this, purchasing managers can grasp at a glance the global exchange rates, prices of over 100 raw materials, as well as production, domestic demand, and import/export trends of 13 industrial sectors on BUYBLE. They can also monitor real-time disaster news from around the world, such as earthquakes, wildfires, and droughts, enabling more proactive responses to potential risks in the global supply chain value chain.
For major raw materials such as aluminum, nickel, and copper, the service provides prices from the London Metal Exchange (LME), which serves as the global trading price benchmark. Users can also receive alert notifications via KakaoTalk when exchange rates or raw material prices rise or fall according to conditions they set.
Various supply chain news for understanding domestic and international market trends, as well as AI-generated market status analysis and forecast predictions, can also be checked. The Global Briefing service is offered free of charge to BUYBLE members during the beta service period.
BUYBLE, launched by Emro in November 2022, is a purchasing-specialized community platform that provides high-quality information for purchasing managers in one place, including information on over 3 million domestic vendors, various purchasing job training contents, and expert columns. It has secured more than 3,000 corporate purchasing managers as members, establishing itself as Korea’s representative purchasing community platform.
An Emro official said, "We have newly introduced the 'Global Briefing' service to enhance various functions within BUYBLE and support members in strengthening their purchasing work competitiveness." He added, "In an increasingly complex and unpredictable market environment, we hope that corporate purchasing managers will experience new purchasing insights through BUYBLE and make better decisions."
