Goseonjae Chairman "Seocho District Council Will Take the Lead in Creating a Better Society"
The Seocho District Council (Chairperson Go Seon-jae) began its first official legislative activities of 2025 on the afternoon of the 6th by visiting the National Seoul National Cemetery to pay respects.
The visit was attended by Chairperson Go Seon-jae, Seocho District Council members, and District Mayor Jeon Seong-su. The attendees expressed their gratitude to the patriotic martyrs through flower offerings and incense burning, and pledged that the council and the executive branch would work together for the development of Seocho District.
Chairperson Go Seon-jae stated, “As we welcome the new year, we reflect on the noble sacrifices of those who dedicated themselves to the country, and the Seocho District Council will take the lead in creating a better society.”
Notably, unlike previous years, official events such as the New Year's gathering were omitted this year, starting the new year quietly and modestly with the memorial visit, adding greater significance.
The Seocho District Council is scheduled to convene the 338th extraordinary session on the 10th, marking the start of full-scale legislative activities.
