Promotion of Influenza (Flu) Vaccination Centered on Public Health Centers
Gyeongsan City in Gyeongbuk has taken proactive measures for the health and safety of its citizens.
Gyeongsan City recently reported a rapid spread of influenza (flu) and expects the outbreak to continue through the spring season, urging people to get vaccinated against the flu as soon as possible.
Those eligible for national flu vaccination support, including individuals aged 65 and older, children, and pregnant women, can receive vaccinations at designated medical institutions regardless of their place of residence. Additionally, through its own program, Gyeongsan City provides free vaccinations at entrusted medical institutions until April 30, 2025, for residents registered in Gyeongsan aged 60 to 64 and for people with severe disabilities.
Ahn Byeong-suk, director of the Gyeongsan City Public Health Center, emphasized the importance of vaccination, stating, “To prepare for the spread of respiratory infectious diseases during the winter season, please follow prevention guidelines and ensure that those eligible get vaccinated to have a safe winter.” For more information, inquiries can be made at the Vaccination Office of the Gyeongsan City Public Health Center.
