Kim Youngsam Elected as First Vice Chair of Daejeon City Council for Second Half

Councilor Kim Youngsam elected as the First Vice Chairman of Daejeon City Council / Daejeon City Council

The Daejeon Metropolitan Council announced on the 6th that it held its 283rd extraordinary session and elected Kim Youngsam (People Power Party, Seogu District 2) as the First Vice Chairperson for the latter half of the 9th Council.

This by-election was held due to the vacancy created by the passing of the late Song Daeyoon, former Vice Chairperson of the Daejeon Metropolitan Council, in October.

Kim Youngsam stated, "I have been entrusted with a significant position during challenging times and a difficult atmosphere in the council," and added, "I will do my best to demonstrate what cooperation and the stature of the council truly mean."
