Namyangju-si Selected as an Excellent Institution in the 2024 Social Service Quality Evaluation

Achievement of Grade A in Developmental Rehabilitation Services and Language Development Support Services

Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 6th that it achieved an 'A grade in Developmental Rehabilitation Services and Language Development Support Services' in the 2024 Social Service Quality Evaluation conducted by the Central Social Service Agency.

This quality evaluation was conducted across 1,816 social service providers nationwide, covering a total of five areas: △institution operation status △service provision and evaluation △management of service personnel, among others.


The city strengthened customized support for people with developmental disabilities through thorough administrative management and systematic service operation, receiving excellent evaluations at four institutions within the jurisdiction.


In particular, Namyangju City Disabled Welfare Center and Seobu Hope Care Center not only achieved high scores in service quality but also in user satisfaction surveys, being selected as institutions in the top 10% among A-grade facilities.


Accordingly, the two institutions will receive the Minister of Health and Welfare Award, a prize money of 4.85 million KRW, and plaques recognizing them as excellent institutions.


Kim Il-nyeo, Director of the Disabled Welfare Division, stated, “This selection as excellent institutions is the result of continuous efforts to provide social services that Namyangju citizens can trust and use.” She added, “As nationally certified excellent institutions, we will continue to strive to provide even higher quality social services in the future.”
