This training will take place over three weeks in New Zealand from July to August 2025. Participating students will directly experience Anglo-American culture through attending local middle school classes and after-school activities, exploring major landmarks, and studying history. They will also have opportunities to improve their English skills by participating in various programs such as homestays.

Applicants must be middle school students residing in Inje-gun, with at least one parent or the student themselves and their primary caregiver registered as residents and continuously living in Inje-gun for more than one year.

The number of participants is limited to 30, allocated by township as follows: 8 from Inje-eup, 5 from Nam-myeon, 7 from Buk-myeon, 6 from Girin-myeon, 2 from Seohwa-myeon, and 2 from Sangnam-myeon. Inje-gun plans to select the final successful candidates by township based on high scores from English interviews.

Selected participants will receive support from Inje-gun for training expenses such as homestay and class participation fees, while students will only need to cover airfare, visa issuance fees, and personal expenses.

Those wishing to participate must submit the application form and required documents in person to the Culture and Education Division of the Tourism and Economy Bureau at Inje-gun Office within the deadline. Detailed information and schedules can be found on the county office website.

An official from Inje-gun stated, “We will continue to support youth to grow into talents with global capabilities by providing broad and diverse cultural experience opportunities.”
