'Step Out 2025' Video Released
Touring 20 Cities Including Latin America and North America
Announcing 2 New Albums, Fan Meetings, and Domestic Encore Performances
The group Stray Kids has announced active promotions this year following their success last year.
On the 6th, their agency JYP Entertainment uploaded a video titled ‘Stray Kids STEP OUT 2025’ on Stray Kids’ official channel. In the released video, they introduced various projects planned for this year.
In the video, Stray Kids revealed plans to release two new albums this year. Attention is focused on whether they will set another record on the Billboard main album chart, the 'Billboard 200', with their new albums.
Starting with their 6th mini album 'Oddinary' in March 2022, Stray Kids achieved a record of six consecutive albums topping the 'Billboard 200' chart, including the 7th mini album 'Maxident', the 3rd full-length album '★★★★★ (5-STAR)', the 8th mini album 'Rock-Star', the 9th mini album 'Maxident', and the special album released at the end of last year, 'SKZHOP HIPTAPE - 合 (HOP)'.
This matches the record previously set by BTS. Stray Kids debuted at number one on the 'Billboard 200' with 'Oddinary' on their first entry. In the 69-year history of the 'Billboard 200', Stray Kids is the only group to debut all six albums that entered the chart at number one.
In August last year, Stray Kids began their new world tour ‘dominATE’ at Seoul’s KSPO Dome, visiting 11 regions domestically and internationally. This tour, scheduled for a total of 48 performances across 32 regions worldwide, will continue this year with a large-scale stadium tour starting in March across 20 regions in Latin America, North America, and Europe.
Stray Kids have also easily overcome the K-pop group '7-year jinx'. In July last year, they renewed their full-group contract with JYP Entertainment, marking the start of a new chapter. They will enhance fan satisfaction by opening signature content through a Korean encore performance and their fifth fan meeting.
Additionally, they have announced a collaboration with SKZOO, the animal characters symbolizing the eight members.
