Sacheon-si, Application and Registration for Support Project of Agricultural Work Convenience Equipment to Increase Farm Household Income

Farm Work Table, Rechargeable Sprayer,
Support for 3 Types of Rechargeable Transport Vehicles

Sacheon City in Gyeongnam Province is accepting applications for the ‘2025 Farmer Work Convenience Equipment Support Project’ from the 6th to the 21st to increase farm household income, improve farming postures, and enhance work efficiency.


The city plans to support three types of equipment: multi-purpose farming work platforms, rechargeable sprayers, and rechargeable transport carts. Support will be provided on the principle of one unit per farm household, with a limit of 500,000 KRW per unit (70% subsidy, 30% self-payment).

The eligible applicants are farmers residing in Sacheon who have registered their agricultural management information within the province and own less than 50,000㎡ of farmland per household. However, farmers who registered their agricultural management after January 1, 2024, as well as those enrolled in workplace health insurance or registered as business operators, are excluded.


Applicants should prepare documents such as the Agricultural Management Registration Confirmation, Health Insurance Qualification Certificate, and proof of facts (business registration status) and apply at their local eup, myeon, or dong administrative welfare center.


The city has been promoting the Farmer Work Convenience Equipment Support Project since 2022 to improve the farming work environment, prevent musculoskeletal disorders among farmers, and enhance their quality of life.


Kim Seong-il, Director of the Agricultural Technology Center, said, “We expect to increase farmers’ satisfaction in the field by improving work efficiency and farming conditions,” adding, “We will continue to promote projects to improve the farming work environment so that farmers can work conveniently and efficiently.”
