The movie 'Harbin' maintained its top position at the weekend box office, but the number of viewers in its second week noticeably declined.

According to the Korea Film Council's integrated ticket sales network on the 6th, over the past weekend (December 3-5), 'Harbin' (directed by Woo Min-ho) attracted 483,927 viewers, securing the number one spot at the box office. Its revenue share was 42.0%. Since its release on November 24, the film has accumulated a total of 3,672,542 viewers.

'Harbin' depicts the operation by Ahn Jung-geun and the independence fighters to assassinate Ito Hirobumi, the Resident-General of Korea, in Harbin, China. It surpassed 1 million viewers on its second day, 2 million on the fifth day, and 3 million on the ninth day. However, during the second weekend after its release, the number of viewers dropped to about half of the first weekend's (December 27-29) approximately 903,000 viewers. The film seems to have lost some momentum as opinions among viewers were divided. Real-time reservation rates on that day showed a decline with 37,630 tickets booked. The film's break-even point is approximately 6.5 million viewers.

In second place was 'Firefighter' (directed by Kwak Kyung-taek), which attracted 129,252 viewers. Since its release on December 4, a total of 3,551,972 people have watched the film. 'Bogota: Land of the Last Chance' (directed by Kim Sung-je), starring Song Joong-ki, drew 102,981 viewers, ranking third.

Fourth place went to the animation 'Super Sonic 3' (89,895 viewers), followed by 'Pororo the Movie: The Great Sea Adventure' (83,655 viewers) in fifth, and 'Mufasa: The Lion King' (43,075 viewers) in sixth. The total number of viewers who visited theaters over the weekend was 1,166,551.
