The budget for major support projects includes ▲362.2 million KRW for maintenance and repair of common areas in multi-family housing ▲10 million KRW for public rental apartment common electricity fees ▲19.26 million KRW for improving the working environment of multi-family housing management workers ▲8 million KRW for community activation projects to create neighbors without noise between floors.
Among these, the city has increased the budget by 400 million KRW, including provincial funds, for elevator replacement and maintenance and repair of aging common facilities such as main roads, exterior walls, and parking lot floors within complexes, and by 30 million KRW for the project to improve the working environment of multi-family housing management workers.
In particular, starting this year, a new support area for installing safety-related facilities has been established to create a safe parking environment in preparation for fires, including relocating electric vehicle charging facilities, with a total budget of 750 million KRW. Up to 25 million KRW per complex will be supported for installing fire safety facilities such as electric vehicle charging stations, suffocation fire extinguishers, underbody water spray devices, and mobile fire water tanks to prepare for electric vehicle fires.
The subsidy for maintenance and repair of common facilities, including safety-related facility installation, is within 50% of the total construction cost, and the subsidy limit per household is ▲75 million KRW for complexes with 1,000 or more households ▲60 million KRW for 500 to 1,000 households ▲45 million KRW for 300 to 500 households ▲30 million KRW for 20 to 300 households ▲10 million KRW for fewer than 20 households.
The city is recruiting complexes to participate in the maintenance and repair project of common areas in multi-family housing, including apartments, multi-family, and row houses, from the 6th to the 14th of next month. Interested complexes can download the application form from the city’s website and submit the project plan to the city’s Multi-family Housing Division. When applying, a consent form signed by two-thirds or more of the owners or a resolution from the residents’ representative meeting must be attached.
Additionally, from the 6th to the 7th of next month, applications will be accepted for a total of 10 million KRW in shared electricity fee support, at 5,887 KRW per household, targeting 24 public rental housing complexes with more than 30 years of rental periods, totaling 17,013 households.
A city official said, "We have expanded the support budget so that more residents of multi-family housing can benefit. We hope for active participation as we have prepared a substantial project to create a safe and pleasant residential space."
