Kim Dong-seon, Vice President of Hanwha Galleria Future Vision Headquarters, who is leading the employee accompaniment project including the establishment of the childcare accompaniment support fund system, also attended in person to encourage the employees.

As part of the employee accompaniment project, the childcare accompaniment support fund system, which started this year, mainly provides 10 million KRW to families of employees in Hanwha's distribution and service division (including subsidiaries) who are expecting childbirth. There is no limit on the number of times it can be received, and families with twins can receive 20 million KRW at once.

The attendees expecting childbirth and childcare gave positive evaluations of Hanwha's distribution and service division's commitment to childcare accompaniment. Manager Kim said, "For dual-income couples, childbirth and childcare inevitably become a significant burden even if one of them takes a leave of absence," adding, "I gained great strength from the company's words that it empathizes with the realistic burdens of employees and will stand together, not just celebrating childbirth."

The in-house couple, managers Kim Jin-hyun and Park Jong-chil, also said, "As childbirth approaches, various worries came first, but thinking that the company will be a reliable support made our minds much lighter," adding, "Our confidence and will regarding the seemingly impossible work-family balance are gradually growing."

Vice President Kim, who took care of employees expecting childbirth as the first step of the new year, said, "As the company's support reduces the childcare burden on families, work efficiency will greatly improve," and added, "We will continue to prepare various support measures that can provide practical help for employees' work-family balance."
