Controversy Erupts After Posting on SNS, Post Deleted

Stylist and broadcaster Kim Woori (51) spoke out about the impeachment crisis of President Yoon Seok-yeol. On the 3rd, Kim Woori posted a video on his social media (SNS) along with the message, "The people we need to take down first now are the red communists."
The released video showed numerous people holding the Taegeukgi and the U.S. flag protesting against President Yoon's impeachment and trying to prevent his arrest. The video is presumed to have been filmed at a rally near President Yoon's residence in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
One participant in the rally in the video defended President Yoon, saying, "Regarding President Yoon Seok-yeol's statement that the Democratic Party of Korea is an anti-state force, American lawyer Gordon Chang also said it was an accurate judgment."
When a netizen asked in the comments, "Who are the red communists? The people holding the U.S. flag?" Kim Woori replied, "Do you really have to ask that? If you are a citizen of the Republic of Korea, you all know that the red communists are the enemy."
After the controversy erupted, Kim Woori deleted the video without any further explanation.
Kim Woori is a first-generation stylist who started as a singer and now works as a beauty influencer. He has also appeared on KBS 2TV variety shows such as "The Manager Has Donkey Ears," gaining public recognition.
Meanwhile, in the cultural sector, singers Kim Heung-guk and JK Kim Dong-wook have publicly expressed support for President Yoon.
Kim Heung-guk attended the rally to prevent President Yoon's arrest on the 2nd and said, "I don't know why the Republic of Korea has come to this," adding, "This week is a critical moment to protect the Republic of Korea and President Yoon Seok-yeol. If we unite just a little more, we can save the Republic of Korea."
He continued, "In the past two and a half years, where else is there a president who has done as well as this person? We must block it. We must overcome it. You will definitely win. Heaven will help us."
JK Kim Dong-wook also posted a photo on SNS on the 3rd showing the Taegeukgi and the U.S. flag together, writing, "Protecting the president is the way to protect the country."
