According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the snowfall is expected to continue until the 6th, with predicted snow accumulation of 3 to 10 cm in Gyeonggi and Gangwon regions, 3 to 8 cm in Seoul, and 1 to 5 cm in Incheon.

Go Gidong, head of the CDSCH, instructed related agencies to mobilize all snow removal personnel and equipment and implement measures to minimize traffic congestion in order to reduce heavy snow damage. He also emphasized strengthening surveillance of snow-vulnerable facilities such as vinyl greenhouses, livestock sheds, and aging buildings, and, in case of collapse concerns, to cooperate with fire and police agencies to promptly carry out evacuation and access control.

Through disaster text messages and broadcasts, weather warnings and action guidelines are being provided, and Go, head of the CDSCH, urged the promotion of reduced-speed driving. He stated, "We will thoroughly carry out emergency response and situation management to minimize heavy snow damage," and asked the public to "follow heavy snow preparedness guidelines and pay attention to traffic and pedestrian safety."
