Donald Trump, the President-elect of the United States, announced on the 20th (local time) that he will appoint Tammy Bruce (62) as the spokesperson for the State Department in the second Trump administration, which will take office soon. Bruce is a political analyst who has been a regular contributor on Fox News. Trump introduced her as "a highly respected figure who early on understood the power and importance of the MAGA (Make America Great Again) movement."

On the 3rd, Trump added on his social media platform Truth Social, "Tammy was a liberal activist in the 1990s, but after witnessing the lies and fraud of the radical left, she transformed into a conservative and became one of the strongest conservative voices on radio and TV."
The State Department spokesperson plays a crucial role in conveying the government's stance on U.S. foreign policy and international issues to the media. Bruce has been a regular contributor on Fox News since 2005, and in 2019, she hosted a program called "Get Tammy Bruce" on Fox Nation, a Fox News subsidiary.
During the appointment process of the second Trump administration, figures from Fox News have been gaining attention.
