Gangbuk-gu Operates Joint Memorial Altar for Jeju Air Disaster Victims Until the 7th

Gangbuk-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Soon-hee) announced on the 4th that the joint memorial altar to mourn the victims of the Jeju Air passenger plane accident will be extended until the 7th. The joint memorial altar, set up on the first floor of the Gangbuk-gu Office, will operate from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., as before.

The district had planned to operate the joint memorial altar from December 31 of last year to January 4 of this year, but decided to extend the operation period to continue expressing condolences for the victims of the Jeju Air passenger plane accident together with the residents.


Mayor Lee Soon-hee said, “We pray for the repose of the victims of the Jeju Air passenger plane accident, and once again offer our deepest condolences to the bereaved families.”
