[Weather] Snow or Rain in Most Areas of Gwangju and Jeonnam

On Sunday the 5th, most areas in Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to see rain or snow.

The expected precipitation for most areas in Gwangju and Jeonnam on this day is 5mm. In the eastern inland regions of Jeonnam, about 1cm of snow is expected.

The morning's lowest temperatures are forecasted as follows: Gokseong, Boseong, Jangheung, Yeongam -3C; Jangseong, Damyang, Gurye, Hampyeong, Naju, Hwasun, Suncheon, Gangjin, Haenam -2C; Yeonggwang, Muan -1C; Gwangju, Jindo, Gwangyang 0C; Mokpo, Wando 1C; and Shinan 2C.

The highest daytime temperatures will be: Wando 11C; Goheung, Jindo, Haenam 10C; Yeonggwang, Hampyeong, Shinan, Muan, Yeongam, Jangheung, Gangjin, Suncheon, Gwangyang, Yeosu 9C; and Gwangju, Jangseong, Damyang, Gokseong, Gurye, Hwasun, Naju, Mokpo, Boseong 8C. These are expected to be higher than the previous day.

Waves on the sea will be 0.5 to 1 meter in the West Sea nearshore, and 0.5 meter in the South Sea nearshore. Fine dust levels in both Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to be at a 'moderate' level.

An official from the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration said, "In areas where rain or snow falls, visibility will be low and there may be icy or slippery roads. Please keep a safe distance and drive at low speeds."
