Vinatech announced on the 3rd that it has raised a donation of 20 million KRW through its own group composed of company executives and employees, the 'Vina Mirae Sharing Foundation,' to mourn the victims of the Jeju Air disaster that occurred at Muan International Airport in Jeollanam-do.
As there were many victims from the Jeonbuk region, where Vinatech's headquarters is located, among those affected by the accident, the Vina Mirae Sharing Foundation delivered the donation to the Muan-gun General Social Welfare Center to support the victims and bereaved families, expressing condolences as a local company.
Seong Do-kyung, CEO of Vinatech, said, "We express our deepest condolences to those who lost their lives in this accident," adding, "We hope this can be of some help in comforting the people involved at the accident site, especially the bereaved families."
Meanwhile, CEO Seong also conveyed his sympathies through a separate personal donation to the Vina Mirae Sharing Foundation.
