Analog and Digital Content Combined at Busan Children's Complex Cultural Space
Busan's Gijang-gun will reopen the Gijang Children's Library (located on Chaseongdong-ro, Gijang-eup) starting from the 7th, launching the Busan Children's Complex Cultural Space 'Deullaknallak,' where analog and digital content harmonize.
'Gijang Children's Library Deullaknallak' will be the third branch in Gijang-gun, following the opening of 'Jeonggwan Library Deullaknallak' in May 2023 and 'Gochon Eoullim Library Deullaknallak' in January last year.
The existing Gijang Children's Library has been remodeled into a child-centered play-based learning space with a total floor area of 423㎡, spanning from the 1st to the 3rd floor. It has been reborn as a space where play and learning using the latest digital technology come together under the common theme of nature.
The 1st floor digital content room features an immersive play experience hall with penguins set against the backdrop of Gijang's landmarks. The 2nd floor infant library is themed around a hill, providing a comfortable space for families to stay. The 3rd floor children's library is designed as a reading space themed around the forest to foster creativity and imagination.
The facility operates daily from Tuesday to Sunday (closed on Mondays and legal holidays) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The infant library and children's library are open until 8 p.m. from Tuesday to Friday. For further inquiries, please contact the library website or the Gijang Children's Library.
