Yangsan-si to Hold 2025 Meeting with Citizens

Starting from the 7th, Touring Eupmyeondong to Hear Various Citizens' Voices

Yangsan City in Gyeongnam will hold a series of town hall meetings with citizens from the 7th to the 15th for seven days.


These meetings with citizens will share major city projects through key city information reports and allow direct interaction with citizens to freely ask and answer questions about local issues and civil complaints.


In particular, the meetings are expected to serve as a communication platform where citizens and the city can jointly consider how to reflect the various opinions presented in the city administration.


The meetings will be divided into morning and afternoon sessions, starting on the 7th with Mulgeum (afternoon), followed by Deokgye-dong (morning) and Pyeongsan-dong (afternoon) on the 8th, Seochang-dong (morning) and Soju-dong (afternoon) on the 9th, Yangju-dong (morning) and Dong-myeon (afternoon) on the 10th, Habuk-myeon (morning) and Sangbuk-myeon (afternoon) on the 13th, Wondong-myeon (morning) and Gangseo-dong (afternoon) on the 14th, and concluding on the 15th with Jungang-dong (morning) and Samseong-dong (afternoon).


Through these meetings, the city plans to attentively listen to the diverse voices of citizens from all walks of life, gather the capabilities and wisdom of its 370,000 citizens, and reflect them in city administration to enrich and enhance citizens' lives, striving to create a vibrant and youthful Yangsan.


A Yangsan city official stated, “Based on the achievements of the key priority projects in 2024, 2025 will be a year to accelerate strongly,” adding, “We will listen to and collect various opinions from residents through the town hall meetings and reflect them in city administration.”
