Busan Regional Veterans Affairs Office Begins This Year's Work with Resolution to Prohibit Improper Solicitation and Acceptance of Money or Gifts

Busan Regional Veterans Affairs Office started the new year’s work with a pledge ceremony to prohibit improper solicitations and acceptance of money or valuables, and to eradicate power abuse, held on January 2, 2025, at the auditorium on the 4th floor of the office building (Park Jae-hyeok Room) with all employees in attendance.


All employees of the Busan Regional Office reaffirmed their commitment as public officials of the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs to never accept any solicitations or valuables, and pledged to lead a respectful and considerate public service culture by eradicating the culture of power abuse.


Lee Nam-il, head of the Busan Regional Veterans Affairs Office, emphasized, “As the main ministry responsible for honoring the noble sacrifices of national veterans and spreading the spirit of patriotism, the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs requires its public officials to uphold the highest standards of integrity,” and urged, “Please do your best throughout the year to promote a culture of respect and courtesy toward veterans and their families.”
