Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 3rd that it is recruiting local home repair companies to participate in the "Home Repair Support Project" aimed at improving the aging residential environment within the Pocheon City and Yeongbuk-myeon urban regeneration project area until the 17th.
The home repair support project is being promoted as part of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's Yeongbuk-myeon urban regeneration project and Gyeonggi Province's small-scale aging housing repair support project.
The project focuses on improving the exterior appearance of houses that are over 20 years old, including roofs, rooftops (insulation, waterproofing, roof finishing), exterior walls (painting, exterior insulation, windows), and outdoor spaces (gates, fences, stairs).
Participation is open to home repair construction companies that have an office in Pocheon City and hold a business registration certificate for construction or construction-related business types. Companies wishing to participate can inquire with the Housing Division Urban Regeneration Project Team of Pocheon City.
Woo Seung-hwan, head of the Housing Division, said, "Through this home repair support project, we will promptly improve the aging residential environment and enhance the quality of life for residents."
Meanwhile, Pocheon City plans to support the repair of 40 houses within the Yeongbuk-myeon urban regeneration project area by 2027. Additionally, this year, support will be extended to 5 detached houses throughout Pocheon City.
Households selected for the home repair support project can choose their preferred participating construction company, directly sign a contract, and proceed with the repairs. The support fund provides up to 12 million KRW per detached house. The self-payment amount is 10%.
