This donation from NH Nonghyup is part of the government's 'Our Rice Consumption Promotion Campaign' to boost rice consumption, helping low-income vulnerable groups while also contributing to agricultural stability and increasing farmers' income.

The donated white rice, provided through the Community Chest of Korea, will be delivered to the administrative welfare centers of each eup, myeon, and dong to be distributed to welfare blind spots and families in crisis. It will also be evenly distributed to facilities and organizations responsible for welfare projects within the jurisdiction. This includes food banks and food markets that donate food to children at risk of hunger, elderly living alone, and others.

The Community Chest of Korea, widely known as the Fruit of Love, is a specialized fundraising organization established in 1998 under the 'Community Chest of Korea Act.' Since its founding, it has continuously worked through public-private cooperation to create a society free from poverty, disease, and social exclusion.
