Selection and Announcement on the 5th of Next Month... Employment Programs to Be Provided
Yeosu City, South Jeolla Province (Mayor Jung Kimyung) has announced that it is recruiting 70 new residents for 'Yeosu Haksuk', located in Chang-dong, Dobong-gu, Seoul, until the 17th.
Eligible applicants are those who, or whose guardians, have been registered residents of Yeosu City for at least two years and have graduated (or are expected to graduate) from a local middle or high school. They must also be newly admitted to or currently attending a two-year or longer college or university, or a graduate school located in Seoul or Gyeonggi Province.

Applicants wishing to apply should submit their application form by mail or in person to the Lifelong Education Division of Yeosu City (74 Jinnam Sports Complex-gil).
The city will select and announce the final residents on February 5, after reviewing academic performance, living conditions, and other criteria.
Yeosu Haksuk is a building with one basement floor and seven above-ground floors. It operates on a two-person-per-room basis and provides three meals a day, a return-home text message service, employment programs, historical site tours, and other conveniences for residents.
A city official stated, "Yeosu Haksuk was established to ease the housing cost burden for students attending schools in the metropolitan area," adding, "We will strive to create a stable residential environment and a conducive study atmosphere so that students from our region can achieve their career goals."
