Samsung C&T has announced plans to develop community facilities in the Hannam 4 District reconstruction project that are six times the size of the lawn plaza area at Seoul City Hall. A sky community overlooking Namsan and Yongsan Park will be built at the highest point within the project site, offering 111 different types of programs.
On the 3rd, Samsung C&T’s Construction Division revealed that it will create a community space of 12,000 pyeong (approximately 39,668 square meters), equivalent to 5.03 pyeong (approximately 16.6 square meters) per household, in the Hannam 4 District redevelopment project. This is more than twice the community area per household compared to newly built apartment complexes in the Gangnam area. Including individual underground storage spaces, the total area provided per household will be 7.7 pyeong (approximately 25.4 square meters).
A central community of about 4,000 pyeong (approximately 13,223 square meters) will be established in Block 32, the heart of the complex. The ceiling height of the community space will reach 11.6 meters, about three floors higher than existing complexes. The plan aims to create a comfortable space that maximizes openness while allowing natural lighting.
The central community will feature various sports and cultural facilities such as an Aqua Sports Park, Healing Sauna, Smart AI Fitness, a Golf Club with lesson rooms and approach ways, and a Library Lounge. The goal is to create a space where residents can enjoy pleasant leisure activities throughout all four seasons.

Additionally, a 266-meter-long sky community will be developed at the highest location in Hannam New Town. It will offer a 360-degree panoramic view of the Han River, Namsan, and Yongsan Park. Spaces for relaxation while enjoying the night view, such as the Sky Leaders Cafe and Deck Lounge, are also planned.
In the mid-levels of the X Tower in Block 32, a 365-meter-long eco-friendly aerial walkway called ‘Highline365’ will be created, featuring jogging tracks and four-season gardens. Highline365 is modeled after ‘The High Line’ in New York, a famous urban park.
A total of 111 different types of programs matching the scale of the community will be operated. Community facilities will be distributed by block, offering specialized programs such as banquet halls, breakfast cafes with cooking facilities, tennis and climbing sports facilities, spas, kids cafes, and pet care centers. Across all five blocks, the total number of community programs will reach 175.

Samsung C&T will guarantee quality maintenance of community facilities and landscaping for 10 years after move-in. First, the safety and quality maintenance of the building structures will be guaranteed for 10 years. Garden care services including planting and landscaping management, as well as a dedicated on-site defect repair A/S center, will also be operated for 10 years.
Samsung C&T stated, "We plan to provide a community space in Hannam 4 District where everyday life feels like a journey," adding, "With a 10-year maintenance guarantee and the lowest number of defects in the industry, we will further enhance the prestige and value of Hannam 4 District."
Samsung C&T is competing with Hyundai Engineering & Construction to secure the construction rights for the Hannam 4 District redevelopment project. Samsung C&T has proposed the complex name ‘Raemian Glowhills Hannam.’ The contractor selection general meeting will be held on the 18th of next month.
