Up 10% Compared to 2023
Atomy announced on the 3rd that, despite global economic instability caused by the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, its overseas subsidiaries achieved sales of 1.25 trillion KRW last year. This represents a 10% increase compared to 2023. Atomy currently operates 26 subsidiaries worldwide, including in the United States and China.
The overseas subsidiary with the highest sales was the China subsidiary, which recorded 417 billion KRW in sales last year, a 6% increase from 2023. In addition, subsidiaries in Russia, Taiwan, and the United States each achieved sales of over 100 billion KRW.
The EU subsidiary, established in April 2023, posted the highest growth rate last year, growing more than threefold.
From May to November of the same year, the average monthly growth rate compared to the previous year exceeded 220%. The remarkable growth of the EU subsidiary is attributed to the synergy between the expansion of the EU direct sales market and the competitiveness of Atomy's products.
Additionally, the Colombia subsidiary, which recorded a growth rate of over 70%, and Brazil, the largest direct sales market in South America, saw an increase of more than 49%. The Mexico subsidiary also grew by 11%, resulting in a 34% increase in total sales for the Central and South American region compared to 2023.
Notably, Atomy's overseas sales growth stands out even more as the global direct sales market is expected to experience negative growth.
An Atomy representative stated, "We expect the growth trend of Atomy's overseas subsidiaries to continue this year," adding, "We will continue to prioritize growth and sustainability, and establish a global presence as a company that supports the success of our members."
