Yongin City Announces Recruitment for 14 Tenants of Youth Startup Support Housing

Lease at 30~50% of Market Price

Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 3rd that it will recruit residents for the 'Yongin Youth Startup Support Housing' for young solo entrepreneurs from the 13th to the 24th.

This housing is supplied through a business agreement between the city and Gyeonggi Housing & Urban Corporation (GH), Gyeonggi Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration, and Yongin Industry Promotion Agency to foster young solo entrepreneurs. GH purchases the houses and provides them to young entrepreneurs at 30-50% of the surrounding market price.

The houses offered this time are 14 out of 16 units of Yongin Youth Startup Support Housing located in Namdong, Cheoin-gu, each with an exclusive area of 30.05㎡.

The deposit for the housing is 5,366,000 KRW, and the monthly rent ranges from 248,700 KRW to 435,660 KRW depending on income and asset criteria. The city explained that this is about 30-50% of the surrounding market price. The contract period is two years, and if renewal conditions are met, the contract can be extended up to four times. Applicants must be unmarried young solo entrepreneurs (including prospective entrepreneurs) without housing residing in Yongin City.
