LG Electronics Unveils Two New Concept Lifestyle Projectors at CES 2025

Introducing a New Concept Projector Combining Projector, Lighting, and Speaker
'LG CineBeam Shorts' Also Available for Large Screen Projection at Close Range

LG Electronics announced on the 3rd that it will unveil two new concept lifestyle projectors at CES 2025, held in Las Vegas, USA, on the 7th (local time).

Following last year's launch of the premium 4K projector 'LG CineBeam Cube,' LG Electronics has strengthened its lifestyle projector lineup. The new products are characterized by significantly enhanced usability and portability to naturally blend into customers' daily lives.

The newly added lineup includes a 3-in-1 concept projector (model name: PF600U) that combines a projector with interior lighting and speakers to increase versatility, and the 'LG CineBeam Shorts' (model name: PU615U), which enhances the projector's core functions while emphasizing portability.

Inspired by the widely used interior accessory 'floor stand mood light,' the new concept projector (PF600U) serves as a single product that functions as ▲a projector ▲an interior light ▲a high-quality Bluetooth speaker. The stand can be freely moved to enjoy various content on a large screen up to 120 inches in FHD (1920 X 1080) resolution anywhere desired. The maximum brightness is 300 ANSI lumens. The projector head tilts up to 110 degrees, allowing customers to adjust the screen as they wish. Besides the projector, it can be used as an interior accessory with a mood light offering 9 colors and 5 brightness levels. It easily connects to mobile devices via Bluetooth for use as a music speaker. The speaker applies a passive radiator to provide rich bass. This innovative 3-in-1 form was recognized with a 'CES Innovation Award.'

The LG CineBeam Shorts applies 'ultra-short throw' technology, capable of projecting a 100-inch large screen from a close distance of about 40 cm. It delivers a maximum 100-inch ultra-large screen in 4K (3840 X 2160) high resolution. The maximum brightness is 500 ANSI lumens. It meets 154% of the Digital Cinema Initiatives (DCI) color gamut 'DCI-P3' and supports a contrast ratio of 450,000:1. Supporting Dolby Atmos, it provides rich and immersive stereo sound. The 'wall color matching' feature adjusts color tones, and the 'screen range setting' feature allows changing the size or position of the projected screen, enabling use tailored to different wall colors or areas for each customer.

Both products support LG Electronics' proprietary platform webOS, allowing convenient access to various content via the internet without connecting separate devices.

Lee Yoon-seok, head of LG Electronics' IT Business Division, said, "With new products that dramatically enhance usability and portability, we will lead the 'lifestyle projector' trend that naturally blends into daily life and is used in diverse ways."
