Park Min-won, President of the National Changwon University, visited the joint memorial altar for the victims of the Jeju Air passenger plane accident set up in the square in front of the Gyeongnam Provincial Government Office.
On the 2nd, President Park, along with about 30 officials and college deans, offered condolence flowers at the altar and paid tribute to the deceased.

He said, “I pray for the souls of the deceased who lost their lives in the passenger plane accident and extend my deepest condolences to the bereaved families.”
National Changwon University began the New Year's ceremony held that morning with a moment of silence to honor the victims of the accident and conducted the event quietly and simply.
